Private, Waterfront Escape!

Positive: The place was very clean and well organized. We had a great stay. Thank you for accommodating all of our requests.

Consumer beware! Upon arriving to this “resort” it looked like a ghost town with dilapidated buildings that in the listing say under construction. These are not under construction they look abandoned like they have been sitting untouched for a long time. Some had their doors kicked in and others had broken windows. Lake front was an absolute lie it was a man made pond at best! The grounds were unkept and grass and weeds were tall. The patio furniture was strewn everywhere with some chairs upside down in the fire pit. Area rug from living room was rolled up and hanging over the railing on porch. Inside the cabin the bar stools faux leather was flaking off, tub in bathroom had rust spots and the faucet was leaking. The windows were dirty and the wall in the living room had water damage at base board. One of the bedrooms had a cracked window and the door in back to the water main and utility box was broken and open to the outside. There was trash with dirty diapers outside the unit as well. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place for your vacation needs. It was awful and felt unsafe with all the unfinished units. We did not stay we left and let the host know of our disappointment and that we were leaving. It was our daughter’s college graduation and everything was booked but we managed to find one hotel room for my family which consisted of 4 adults and 3 small children. The unit was bad for us to leave knowing it would be difficult to find another room

Clean room and nice scenery
